Ms. Arnold received her B.S.Ed. at Mississippi College in 1987 and in May, 2011, graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Masters in Elementary Education. She is a member of the International Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi for educators and PAGE. Ms. Arnold holds a T5 Georgia Certificate in education and also holds an ACSI educator certificate. Ms. Arnold began her teaching career in DeKalb County, GA, continuing her career into the Orlando, FL, area, in which she obtained an ESOL certificate. Upon moving back to the Atlanta area, Ms. Arnold was an educator at Forsyth Christian School and most recently, an educator in the Forsyth County School System. During this time with Forsyth County Schools, Ms. Arnold participated in the State Pilot GKIDS program, which replaced the state program GKAP for kindergarten assessments. During her teaching career, Ms. Arnold has held positions of SCE Sunshine Committee, FCS Homecoming Chair, FCS Yearbook Sponsor, FCS Student Council Sponsor and PTA member. Ms. Arnold is also a member of DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution and Eastern Star.
Ms. A has two children, Garrett, 17 years old, and McKenna, 16 years old. Also inhabiting the household, are her three cats, Midnight, Pickles and Rascal. The children in her Kindergarten class also love Ms. A’s rats, Muffin and Cupcake. Ms. Arnold is also a Senior Consultant for Thirty One Gifts and attends First United Methodist Church in Cumming.
