De Jesus, Mary Kay

Mary Kay de Jesus has been teaching art for many, many years in Michigan, Ohio, California, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Art in Creative Art Design and a minor in education. She will graduate in May with an MFA. She has worked for the US Air Force (Vietnam Veteran) and IBM. Shortly before moving to Georgia, she owned, then sold her own design business. She wholeheartedly believes that every child is an artist, as Pablo Picasso has stated, “They just forget when they’re an adult.” Mary Kay loves to share her strong Christian faith, and is a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, where she also teaches faith art, and religious studies. Mary Kay lives with her best friend and husband, Armando, and her two loving grandchildren, Erica and Tommy.
