Karl Funderburg studied Computer Science at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before starting his own computer business. He has worked for BellSouth, U.S. Army and AT&T as a network engineer. LT Funderburg serves as an Information Dominance Warfare Officer in the United States Navy Reserve. He is a veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Karl and his wife Kimberly have two daughters and are members of Brown’s Bridge Community Church.
