Kunin, Debbie

Mrs. Kunin attended Old Dominion University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Her first career was spent as an Accountant and Financial Analyst, most of her career was with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) in Atlanta.

She left her career with IHG to pursue a Masters degree in Elementary Education to fulfil a lifelong dream of teaching children. Mrs. Kunin’s passion is with children and the commitment to helping children achieve life-long learning though creative, engaging, and dynamic learning.

Mrs. Kunin is certified in Georgia to teach Elementary Education (K-5) and is eligible to teach Middle School Grades (6-8). She has over 10 years in the classroom as a parent volunteer for small groups (Math and Reading) and as a substitute teacher. She currently is a tutor with Tutoring Tree and assists children in Math, Reading, and Writing.

Prior to joining the FCS family she taught GA Pre-K, Private Pre-K, and Preschool at Carrington Academy. Her student teaching was at Findley Oaks Elementary (second grade).

Mrs. Kunin is married and has three daughters who are in 4th, 5th and 8th grade. She loves photography and plays tennis in her free time.
