Pre-School
The Friendship Christian School Preschool program is proud to offer classes for children ages 1 to 5 (age as of September 1st). Our classes are designed to be warm, nurturing, and academically stimulating. With a low student to teacher ratio, we strive to provide an environment where every student is known and loved for the child they are. Our qualified teachers provide classrooms that are bright, fun, challenging, Christ-centered, and very family oriented.
Our curriculum includes monthly themes that are studied by the entire school. The songs the students sing, the art projects they complete, the books they read will all relate to the theme being studied. In addition to the monthly themes, our teachers use the Abeka preschool curriculum for the teaching of phonics, reading, and math. Abeka is a very strong phonics based program, and most of our Pre-K students are reading by the time they head to Kindergarten.
Our day includes a variety of large group and small group activities including weekly Chapel, music, and Spanish classes. The students have recess every day either on our fenced playground or in our enclosed gymnasium. Students will follow a daily schedule that includes teacher directed activities and centers/free choice time.
Classes run from 8:30-12:30 daily (there is no extended day program). Parent send in either lunch/snack that is served between 10:45-11:15 each day. Parents bring students in for drop-off each morning, and we offer a carpool for pick up in the afternoon.

Registration Information for 2012
Tuition rates for the 2012-13. Tuition is based on a yearly amount and it is paid over 9 months (August-April). Monthly payment amounts are as follows:
1 Day per Week Class (Friday 1s class only) $100 per month
2 Days per Week Classes (T/TH for 1s, 2s, 3s and M/W for 1s) $195 per month
3 Days per Week Classes (MWF for 2s, 3s, 4s) $235 per month
5 Days per Week Classes (M-F for 2s, 3s, 4s) $295 per month
Classes are assigned based on the child’s age on September 1, 2012. Classes begin on September 1st and go through May. The exact calendar will be posted on the website as soon as it becomes available.
Registration for the public begins on Tuesday January 17, 2012 in the preschool office. Registration forms are available to download from our website.
There is a $100 non-refundable registration fee due when you register for a spot. There is a one-time, non-refundable activity fee of $50 due with the first tuition payment.
