Married to his high school sweetheart, Scott and Andrea are blessed with 2 adult children, Stephen Preissler, & Allison (Preissler) LaBerge.
Scott attended one of America’s first, and now premier Christian Schools: Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, Indiana – pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. He then attended Taylor University. Dr. Preissler has held key leadership roles in universities; Indiana University, The University of Cincinnati, and Franklin College – one of America’s oldest historic, private colleges.
Dr. Preissler earned a doctorate Ph.D. degree from Union University, accomplishing interdisciplinary research on Christian education and Steward Leadership studies. Dr. Preissler also earned (2) two master’s degrees:
- The Master of Science in Education, and
- The Master of Arts in Philanthropic Nonprofit Leadership.
Dr. Preissler served as founding Executive Director of The National Center for Stewardship & Generosity, and as a State Missionary Consultant for The Georgia Baptist state headquarters. Prior to that, Dr. Preissler served as the first, Professor and Department Chair of Steward Leadership at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Preissler founded this academic field in Christian secondary and higher education.
Scott served as the President of the national Christian Stewardship Association (CSA). He began service to CSA as Vice President of Education and was promoted through the ranks to President & CEO. Over the past 30+ years, Dr. Preissler has achieved an admirable list of national academic publications, presentations, and research benefiting students and administrators.

As the Head of Friendship Christian School, Pastor Vasily Lantukh is a talented motivator and organizer. He holds a master’s degree in Agriscience and has a track record of successful leadership as a minister, entrepreneur, international businessman, and family man.
His strong personal commitment to education has most recently displayed itself in his own six children. Three of them have earned undergraduate degrees from Georgia Tech, and the other three from Georgia State University. Three of his children have earned graduated degrees and are greatly excelling in their fields of work and study. His youngest son, Alex Lantukh, graduated as the valedictorian of FCS in 2011.
Mr. Lantukh has faithfully served as the Pastor of New Life Christian Church since the late 1990s. When he’s not at school or church, he enjoys gardening with his wife, Marya, and tackling a growing list of home improvement projects.

Mr. Shaw is the lower school principal at FCS. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia College & State University, and a Master’s degree in Instructional Design & Development from the University of Georgia. He taught 4th grade for ten years, spending 4 years with Gwinnett County Public Schools and 6 at FCS starting in 2010. He has been the principal since 2016.
During his time at Friendship, Mr. Shaw has served as our Athletic Director, Basketball, Golf, and Cross Country Coach. He has taught numerous upper school Bible & lower school Technology classes. Currently, he works with admissions, testing, and carline.
Mr. Shaw and his wife Fiona have a daughter and son who both attend the FCS Pre-K program.

Mrs. Holmes is the Preschool Director for Friendship Christian School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Louisville and her master’s degree in Teaching from Spalding University. Mrs. Holmes has been an educator for over 30 years and has worked as both a preschool and elementary classroom teacher. She has a passion for early childhood education and has served as a preschool director for 12 years.
