About the International Program at Friendship Christian School
We believe that the Lord has called our school to share the Gospel to the world by educating the next generation from all nations. Students who wish to leave their home country and study in the United States are welcome at FCS.
As of 2021, 70% of our teachers are bilingual and 20% of our student population is from another country, making FCS an excellent place for international students to enjoy a private, Christian education with small class sizes.
International students may choose to live with a host family inside or outside of the FCS family. If an international student selects a host family outside of FCS, the host family must be approved by the FCS International Director. A student on an I20 visa cannot live alone and must only live with an approved host family. This is for the safety of the student as well as the integrity of the program. The host family/guardian must provide transportation to and from school before the student is accepted into the program. The school does not have bus routes or other transportation options available at this time.
- All students must complete the SLEP, SLATE, TOEFL, or TOEFL Junior English proficiency test and send results to FCS.
- Skype or in-person interviews will be conducted.
- Application fee of $150 USD submitted at the time of application
100% of the tuition must be paid in full before the student can attend FCS.
Fees are non-refundable. If a student is dismissed due to academic or discipline issues, fees will not be refunded. If a student decides to transfer during the school year, fees will not be refunded.
