Friendship Christian School Elementary program consists of grades Kindergarten through 5th.
K5 students must be 5 years old by Nov. the 1st. We will not accept students passed that date.
We only offer the mainstream track. We do not offer modifications other than time extension (IEP only) for students that qualify. However, students can tutor in math and reading.
We give verbal testing or time extension to IEP students; no other modification or accommodation is given.
We are pleased to provide an educational environment where students are challenged and where learning is customized for your student. We offer small class sizes and our teachers and staff welcome the opportunity to work with your child on an individual basis to help him/her grow to his/her maximum God-given potential.
As the foundation of their life is being laid at this early age, FCS believes it is imperative that the family, church, and school, share in the responsibility of educating the whole child — mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We use a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials in order to meet the needs of all of the students in our school. Our goal is to ensure they are prepared at each grade level to move up and be successful in the next.
All students will test once they apply at FCS. During admissions each applicant’s previous school records and recommendation letters will be reviewed and a personal interview will be held as well. All students applying for admission in grades K through 5 must complete the application packet, including all necessary documentation. Once these items are received an interview will be scheduled for the family to meet with our Principal.
Upon completion of the admissions procedures, a letter will be sent informing parents of the admission decision. At that time final registration is completed by paying a registration fee and signing a tuition contract.
We look forward to welcoming you and your student into the FCS family!
