Dr. Scott Preissler

High School Principal

Married to his high school sweetheart, Scott and Andrea are blessed with 2 adult children, Stephen Preissler, & Allison (Preissler) LaBerge. 

Scott attended one of America’s first, and now premier Christian Schools: Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, Indiana – pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. He then attended Taylor University. Dr. Preissler has held key leadership roles in universities; Indiana University, The University of Cincinnati, and Franklin College – one of America’s oldest historic, private colleges. 

Dr. Preissler earned a doctorate Ph.D. degree from Union University, accomplishing interdisciplinary research on Christian education and Steward Leadership studies. Dr. Preissler also earned (2) two master’s degrees:

  • The Master of Science in Education, and
  • The Master of Arts in Philanthropic Nonprofit Leadership.   

Dr. Preissler served as founding Executive Director of The National Center for Stewardship & Generosity, and as a State Missionary Consultant for The Georgia Baptist state headquarters. Prior to that, Dr. Preissler served as the first, Professor and Department Chair of Steward Leadership at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  Dr. Preissler founded this academic field in Christian secondary and higher education.

Scott served as the President of the national Christian Stewardship Association (CSA). He began service to CSA as Vice President of Education and was promoted through the ranks to President & CEO. Over the past 30+ years, Dr. Preissler has achieved an admirable list of national academic publications, presentations, and research benefiting students and administrators.
